Geography reference
Geography is the spine of every Motionworks measurement product. This hub points at the canonical reference surfaces — start here when you're mapping a market name to a DMA, comparing region boundaries, or wiring a geography filter into an audience or campaign query.
What's here
Three doors into the geography model.
- Reference libraries — canonical lookup tables for DMAs, markets, regions, and the IDs every Motionworks API uses to scope a query to a place.
- Population intelligence methodology — how the synthetic population is gridded, how each cell is keyed to a geography, and the inputs that flow into circulation and audience math.
- Popcast Anytime & At Home — endpoints that return per-geography counts (households, persons, custom segments) for a requested region, with the geography ID contract documented inline.
Coming soon
Full geography reference, in source.
A full reference page is being authored in the docs-source repo
(standard-data/documentation@v2) and will replace this hub
once it lands. Until then this stub keeps the link target stable so
cross-page references in jobs-nav.json don't 404.
